A 25 hour exercise in suffering: The Strathpuffer 24 hour mountain bike race

I spent the weekend with friends who were competing in the 2013 Strathpuffer 24 hour mountain bike race (one for the first time). Whilst they were lapping away through the day and night – eventually to finish 27th – I sneaked off with my camera and took a few photos of competitors as they made their way around the course.
