About Colin Henderson

I participate in and photograph a variety of outdoor activities and adventure sports, aiming to capture high-quality commercial and editorial images for the use of photo editors, event organisers, athletes and outdoor clothing/equipment manufacturers worldwide.

Based in Edinburgh, I've travelled widely across Scotland and the UK, to Europe and both North and South America, the farthest I've got from home being the small village of El Chalten in Southern Patagonia, which I've visited twice, the first time to trek and photograph out on the Southern Patagonian Ice Cap and the second to write a travel and trekking guidebook to Los Glaciares National Park.

It is photography that remains my passion and I spend most of my outdoors time in the Scottish Highlands, capturing people playing amongst a magical mix of mountains and coastline renowned for its beauty the world over.
